This is about the only protein drink i can tolerate.  Will this cause any danger to my new tummy?  It goes down pretty good.  Thanks!!!

It shouldn't . What did your doctor tell you to drink? My doctor has me on a high protein drink 3 times a day and the no sugar added CNB twice a day. I mix them both with 1% milk. I had lap band. What is VSG?

I would call the nutritionist at weight wise.  You can call or e-mail her and she'll be happy to discuss your questions about the protein drinks.

I learned with the hot cocoa that I bought, the box said no sugar added but it still had sugar in it. So you just have to read the label.  I let my kids drink the hot cocoa since it did have surgar in it. I was afraid of dumping with it.

I couldn't tolerate any other protein drink either. My NUT told me it was fine. You can also add 1/3 cup FF dry milk and it will up the protein by 8 grams!

I think the rules were no more than 5 grams of sugars in a protein drink.  I can't remember the rest of the rules.  It may say on the paperwork you got while in the hospital.
I have maintained for one year at this point.  I am steady at -120 pounds.  =)

CIB was what I was given for my protien drink in the hospital. Though I do believe it is a litttle lite on the protien and more a suppliment than a actual meal replacement.
